Botanic Park Information

Botanic Center

The Plant Culture Center consists of the Greenhouse—where visitors can explore the flora and plant cultures of 12 cities located in the Mediterranean and tropical regions—and the Support Building that houses the Botanic Hall (main auditorium), a specialized Plant Library, the Project Hall, and other facilities for various events and exhibitions. Convenience facilities such as gift shop and cafe are also available.

You can purchase admission tickets for the Greenhouse and Display Gardens.
Ticketing Closing Time: Regular Season (March–October) 5 p.m., Winter Season (November–February) 4 p.m.

A specialized library housing approximately 7,000 domestic and international plant-related books, publications, and video materials (DVD).

The collection includes 10,000 domestic and international books related to plants, ecology, gardens, and landscaping.
The library also collects various types of materials including DVDs and periodicals, and conducts plant-themed book curation and author lectures.

The workspace for the Director who overseas all operations of Seoul Botanic Park.
Responsible for general administration and park operations including human resources, budget, management, visitor relations, website operation, volunteer services, permits, and public relations for Seoul Botanic Park.
Oversees citizen participation events and education, professional training, tours, exhibition planning and operation, Plant Library, Gift Shop, and public-private partnership projects.
Responsible for the overall infrastructures of Seoul Botanic Park including facility management, disaster prevention and response, and construction consultation.
Responsible for plant research, exhibition planning, maintenance, rare plant surveys, ecosystem research, domestic and international exchange, and nursery operations for Seoul Botanic Park.
